## Create an Account [#create-an-account]

With Beai running locally, open your browser to **http://localhost:1515**.

You'll see the Beai landing page with a **Sign In** button. Click it to navigate to the login page, then click **Create an account** to register.

Fill in your details:

- **Name** — Your display name
- **Email** — Your email address
- **Password** — A secure password

Click **Create Account** to complete registration. You'll be signed in automatically and redirected to the app.

## Sign In [#sign-in]

On return visits, go to **http://localhost:1515** and click **Sign In**. Enter your email and password to access the dashboard.

## Deployment Modes and Authentication [#deployment-modes-and-authentication]

The registration flow depends on your [deployment mode](/docs/developer-guide/configuration):

| Mode | Authentication |
|------|---------------|
| **Local** (default) | Email and password — the flow described above |
| **Demo** | Read-only access, no registration needed |
